Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC)
The AGEC is a set of courses that satisfy lower division general education and foundation courses at the UA, as well as general education requirements for associate degrees for transfer. There are three types of AGECs: AGEC-A (Arts), AGEC-B (Business), and AGEC-S (Sciences). Review each AGEC to determine which one you should complete to satisfy degree requirements at the UA. Academic Advisors at the UA are happy to meet with prospective students to plan courses to complete at community colleges before transferring.

Course requirements for AGECs are approved through community colleges. Students must have AGECs certified through their community colleges once completed.
